Forest Maintenance, Composting, and Livelihood Support for Persons with Disabilities.

In the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2023, LGF-funded SAFRA-ADAP projects made notable strides in environmental conservation and community development. Key activities included forest maintenance, pathway construction, and fencing waste disposal areas. In Cateel, Davao Oriental, efforts focused on forest upkeep, composting training, seed planting, and fruit tree care, while also creating livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities. The Pulak Project progressed in forest maintenance, organic farming, and youth training. In Hindang, Leyte, farm maintenance helped local farmers sell crops like bananas and cassava.
