The Sogod-Bontoc project is funded by SEZ and LGF, provided humanitarian aid and long-term environmental restoration in Southern Leyte. Launched in January 2023, and completed in December 2023 (for Year 1, as Year 2 is also now on-going). it supported over 500 individuals, including PWDs, through reforestation in Sogod and mangrove protection in Bontoc. Over 200 fruit trees, 120 native trees, and 1,200 mangrove seedlings were planted, with 10,000 more prepared for replanting. The project also organized cooperatives, conducted training for over 300 participants, and built strong local partnerships. Moving into 2024, it aims to expand reforestation efforts and community engagement for sustained impact.
