Tree Planting Activity in Brgy. Sampaloc, Tanay Rizal

A meaningful reforestation initiative was held in Sitio Masalat, Brgy. Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal, where the youth, along with family and friends of FTI management, barangay officials, and community members, gathered to plant native and fruit-bearing trees. Organized by FTI and funded by LGF and Postcode, the project aimed to restore the local environment and contribute to the overall health of the community’s ecosystem.

The participants actively planted a diverse range of trees, enhancing biodiversity and improving the area’s ecological resilience. The initiative also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and brought together various sectors of the community to work toward a shared goal of sustainability.

This project underscores FTI’s commitment, with the support of LGF and Postcode, to preserving and enriching the natural environment, ensuring a greener, more sustainable future for Brgy. Sampaloc and surrounding areas.

Tree Planting Activity:
FTI / LGF in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Tanay

Total Trees Planted: 1,000 native trees, including:

  • 200 Molave (Vitex parviflora)
  • 205 Ilang-Ilang (Cananga odorata)
  • 215 Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa)
  • 180 Dap-Dap (Erythrina orientalis)
  • 200 Narra (Pterocarpus indicus)
    Participants: 150 individuals

This activity reflects a collective effort towards a greener, more sustainable future, one tree at a time.
